Location of the LSM

The LSM will take place at the ENSEIRB and at the Bordeaux I University.

The technical sessions will take place at the ENSEIRB, engineering school of electronics and computer science. It is a large white building with a wing-shaped roof and a huge antenna on top of it.

The public sessions will take place at the neighboring buildings of the Science Faculty.

The lodgingof many participants will take place at the Village Universitaire 1, located just next to the ENSEIRB. Breakfast and noon meals can be taken at University Cafeteria RU 1.

The mansion and the cafeteria are located near the ENSEIRB.

You can easily move by foot between ENSEIRB, Faculty, the mansion and the cafeteria.

To travel to the ENSEIRB

By taxi

Ask for the ENSEIRB, on the campus of the Université Bordeaux I, boulevard Albert Schweitzer, at Talence.
Expect between 6 and 12 € from the center of town, and about 25 € from the airport.

By bus

From the Bordeaux train station, take a bus 7 or 8 to place de la Victoire. Then take a bus F (look at the map below), in the direction of Talence, get off at the stop Village 1.

From the airport, take the shuttle downtown or to the Bordeaux train station. Ask the driver to get off at Meriadeck (not all drivers accept that, as it is not a regular stop; keep your luggage with you to do so). If the driver lets you get off at Meriadeck, take a bus 7 or 8 (the stop is on your right) to place de la Victoire. Then, in any case, follow the instructions above.

By car

Due to road works to install tramway tracks, some roads may be closed. However, the avenue Albert Schweitzer will always be open.

By the beltway, use exit 16 marked Talence-Domaine Universitaire. Take towards Bordeaux. Just before arriving to the big green gate of the University, turn left (just after the Casino supermarket that you will pass on the right). Follow the avenue Roul, which runs under a concrete bridge and turns to the left. On top of the slope, you will find the ENSEIRB on your left.

From the center of town, first find the place de la Victoire. Once there, keep going straight, following the arrows to the Domaine Universitaire, which will make you pass cours de l'Argonne, barrière Saint-Genès, enter Talence, follow cours Gambetta, pass the fountains, follow cours de la Libération, and find the big green gate of the University on your right. Pass them and turn right immediately to avenue Roul, just before the Casino super-market. From this point, follow the instructions above.
